GYMWIJZER! ® app for iPhone and iPad

PE Pointer! (GymWijzer! ® for the Dutch version) is an app which is also available online at www.gymwijzer.nl. This learning/teaching tool offers opportunities to learn and support movement activities during PE lessons. Using videos and viewing guides to show students and teachers what they can do and practice. All videos and viewing guides are among the 12 subjects set up in The Netherlands for physical education. The aim is that students can use a tablet, independently or together with other students to exercise different activities during a PE lesson. For teachers and teachers in physical education PE Pointer! can help them to give a boost to quality for their PE lessons.

PE Pointer! focuses, in comparison with other available apps for PE, particularly in the cooperative learning. PE Pointer! can also be used to support the motor learning skills. This is accomplished by providing each activity with videos of various viewing points like side, back and frontal views.
